How your day works
- Book your ferryBook the Tarifa → Tangier Ville ferry with the operator of your choice. Timetables and prices change — please check with the operator (guide value: from about €40).
- Crossing & passport controlThe crossing takes roughly 35–60 minutes depending on the vessel. Passport control is usually handled on board.
- Welcome at the portYour driver waits with a name sign at Tangier Ville port. Cape Spartel, Caves of Hercules, medina and kasbah — with a licensed guide.
- Back on timeWe plan backwards from your return ferry and get you back in time for check-in.
Documents & entry
- Bring your passport — ideally valid for at least 3 more months.
- Many nationalities enter without a visa for short stays. Please check your nationality with the official authorities.
- Arrive at Tarifa port ideally 90 minutes before departure.
- Morocco's clocks can differ from Spain's (especially in summer and during Ramadan) — watch the local time of your return ferry.

How long is the crossing from Tarifa to Tangier?
Roughly 35 to 60 minutes depending on the vessel. Add check-in time at the port — about 90 minutes before departure is recommended.
Which documents do I need?
A passport, ideally valid for at least 3 more months. Whether you need a visa depends on your nationality — please check with the official authorities beforehand.
Is the ferry included in the price?
No. You book the ferry yourself with the operator of your choice, which keeps your timing flexible. We take over from Tangier Ville port.
What if my ferry is delayed or cancelled?
Tell us the new time on WhatsApp and we adjust the pickup. If the ferry is cancelled we find a new date together.
What is included in the price?
Private air-conditioned vehicle with driver, licensed guide, entry to the Caves of Hercules, mint tea, fuel, tolls and parking. Lunch and drinks are paid by you (approx. €10–15).
Do I have to pay in advance?
No. There is no deposit — you pay in cash on the day (euros or dirhams).
